"Fiction is the only place left where truth still exists."

So why are you creating a future that's destroying you?

So why are you creating a future that's destroying you?

So why are you creating a future that's destroying you?

"Look at your greatest works of fiction. They haven't stopped asking the exact same question. Problem is, you thought they were just telling a story. You're wrong. They've only ever been telling the truth."

The Archaeology of Soul

Humanity's root story has always been buried deep below. So deep, it’s been lost beneath all the other stories that've been piled atop to keep civilisation standing. Its revelation is too painful to survive the light of day. Only a few stories have ever ventured down deep enough to excavate parts - or echoes - of its remains; and in these glimpses something of your real nature is briefly exposed.

The root story drives your need to understand

In 1816, besides Lake Geneva, in a villa owned by Lord Byron, a group of poets gather round a log fire and tell each other horror stories. One of these storytellers is Mary Shelley. Her story of Frankenstein's Monster tells of humanity's need to push through to the other side and create something beyond yourself: but so too does it unveil the resultant horrors that lurk in the dark recesses of your mind. Her Archaeology of Soul began pulling up the sanctity of the root story. And it still is.

The root story flows within your blood

Seventy years later, during the summer of 1890, Bram Stoker walks into the library in Whitby and requests the title: The Accounts of Principalities of Wallachia and Moldavia. Something is on his mind; he doesn't know exactly what yet but it won't let him go. His Archaeology of Soul is stirring something so deep, he can feel it flowing through his blood. Dracula is soon to feast on it...

The root story knows what's going to happen next

The Archaeology of Soul only excavates the truth. It cannot lie. When storytellers use the Archaeology of Soul in their storytelling, their stories are always prophetic. Even if couched in metaphor or disguised within archetypes, the Archaeology of Soul can show you only the truth.

You don't believe me? Ok. Let me say it another way: Dracula and Frankenstein are literary works that orbit around the necessity of destroying a monster. So let's look at both these monsters: on the one hand we have Dracula, the monster that sucks blood from each one of you; on the other, Frankenstein’s monster, the creation that is made up of composite parts of each one of you. All these years later both these monsters remain; only now their place in your lives go deeper than ever.

The root story is reaching out to you

Dracula and Frankenstein are what’s actually happening to you right now. Yes it is! Your own data is being sucked out of you. And an assumed intelligence - though in actual fact, a monster in plain sight - is being presented back to you as a composite of all yourselves. Though you were warned on the banks of Lake Geneva over two hundred years ago, you have still allowed yourself to become the victims of your own, self-created demons.

It's time to wake up

This is no coincidence. Turn your thoughts upside down and re-align. Fiction is not what you think it is. Fiction writers aren’t here just to stir your imagination, they are here to tell a vital truth. They are fundamental functions of the creation program we are all part of. It is non-fiction that is making things up. It is non-fiction that steals reason and treats life as a commodity to trade. You are so sure of yourself; so sure of your history and your place within it, but it is all lies! Lies! Lies! Lies!

Wake up I say again!

Listen to the writers of fiction. They are the Archaeologists of Soul that have been trying to tell the Root Story since its very beginning.
